July 22, 2009 CHI Flat Iron, Sedu Shortie Iron & CHI Silk Infusion

Hi Guys! I just wanted to share with you about my most recent purchase from Folica.com.
I was planning on getting a name-branded salon flat iron because I've been using a pretty bad drugstore brand one. (Conair) So after doing tons of research, I was either going to get Solia or CHI. CHI had many reviews saying that it broke easily, but Solia had a lot of bad reviews too.
Even though I don't need a flat iron, I was looking for one that could curl my hair, because I never tried it so I decided to get the CHI because it was thinner and it seemed easier to curl with.

I bought it at a reasonable price, the total was $89.98 for the CHI Flat Iron, and I also was curious to try out the CHI Silk Infusion. Since I spended over $85, Folica had this promo & I got a Mini Sedu Straightener as well! Although that promo has ended, check out their website! They probably will have more soon! :)
I got the one that came with the Heat Proof Pouch. ($74.99)
Can't wait for my package! :)

This was the Sedu Revolution Pro Shortie Mini Style Iron I got free with my order ($50 value!)

& CHI Silk Infusion ($14.99) I heard it was really good! :)
I'll post some pictures once they come! Can't wait! hehe :)

xoxo,
lily.

Freshlook Colorblends : Gray

I just got my Freshlook Colorblends in Gray, and I must say ;; they are super comfortable.
I'm not to happy with the color though. It doesn't look all that natural. I took my optometrist's advice, and bought them because she said they suited oriental looks very well. Oh well, it's always good to experiment with colors right? It's my first pairs of gray's anyways. \:

I'll post of pictures soon!

Received my Honey Wing Circle Lenses! :)

Okay, so I got my GEO Honey Wings from S2Janie at prettyandcute.com a few days ago, and I promised a post, so here it is! If you buy from prettyandcute.com, remember to say that Lily from Simple-too-pink.blogspot.com referred you!

* * * GEO HONEY WINGS.

Colour/Pattern- 8.5/10 The colour is absolutely gorgeous, but I sort of expected it to be a little brighter than it is. In some ways it looks a lot better in the light, and it looks VERY natural, which was what I was aiming for. :) For my first pair of circle lenses, I'm pretty satisfied!

Enlargement : 9/10 Never tried circle lenses before, but compared to my freshlooks, they englarge quite a bit, and I really like the da
rk rim around the edges too. <3>e the most. :)

Comfort 11/10 . Yes, these are VERY comfortable. At first, I wasn't going to order these lenses because many reviews said that the lenses were slightly uncomfortable and shifted around the eye. But, when I where them, they are even more comfortable than regular color contacts, and I can't even feel that they are in!

Overall : These are veryy pretty. I really like the color it brings out in the sun, and the little halo it shows, (which I thought that it wouldn't show up). I also like the natural brown it shows so it doesn't really look too fake. :)
I highly recommend them!

Received Likas Papaya Soap

Yay! I finally got my Likas Papaya Soap! :)
It came in three different envelopes, each with lots of little candies and freebies inside.
I payed $18.00 in total, and I must say, it was definitely worth it.
So far I only used it once, but it made my skin really dry. I really recommend getting a good moisterizer to use after washing with Likas. I use Olay Moisture Lotion with SPF 15.
My packages, I love the cute thank you tape & notes that were inside!

GEO Honey Wing Circle Lenses

I've been interested in circle lenses for a long time now, and I decided to order a pair to try them out. I found a very efficient and neat website http://prettydollyeyes.webs.com, where S2Janie, sells a large variety of circle lenses. After doing some research I decided to get GEO Honey Wings. The price was only $20, plus shipping and handling which I think is a very good price. I also get this really cute hello kitty contact case for free! (:
Since I'm still waiting for my order to arrive, I can only post what I ordered.
Here a promo for the lens.

Likas Papaya Soap.

I always heard about Likas Whitening Soap, but I never really tried it out. For those of you guys who don't know what Likas Papaya Soap is, it is a whitening skin herbal soap and it's the first Filipino pure oranic herbal soap. It is enriched with Papaya enzyme and blended with tropical herbs to whiten the skin for a clearer and finer skin complexion. One bar is about 135g.

So I decided to try it out and see if it really works the wonders people say it does. I ordered it from a soompi seller's shop, SaturnCharm. Her prices at her shop are pretty reasonable, you should check it out. Visit her shop here.
SaturnCharm lets you negotiate a price too, so I got my order to be 5 bars for $18 shipped. I'm not sure if that's overprcied, but they don't sell it where I live so I guess it was reasonable enough for me.
